A woman from a wealthy south eastern suburb has been charged with raiding a pensioner’s wallet for cash after the man left it inside a Frankston newsagency while buying a gift for his granddaughter.

A woman from a wealthy south eastern suburb has been charged with raiding a pensioner’s wallet for cash.
A 55-year-old Malvern East woman has been charged with theft after a significant amount of money was stolen from inside a misplaced wallet owned by a 74-year-old pensioner.
She has been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on July 20, 2020.
Police allege she stole the wallet and took the cash after the man left it inside a Frankston newsagency while buying a gift for his granddaughter.
