Dandy Cat Rescue have dubbed Daisy their kitty super mum

WHEN Daisy’s kittens died, Dandenong Cat Rescue gave her three orphans to care for and she relished the challenge.

DAISY has a lotta love to give. Dandenong Cat Rescue took in the cat and her four kittens a while ago after they were found abandoned.

But the kittens were ill and died very soon after they were found.

“On the day her last kitten died, a vet contacted us about three orphaned kittens and asked if we could take them. We decided to give them to Daisy to care for and she raised them as her own,” volunteer Melissa Mitchell said.

Adorable Kittens to Brighten Up Your Day

Last week the charity got four more orphans and Daisy became mum again.

It’s unusual for a cat to take on kittens that are not her own. She’s the best mumma cat ever,” Ms Micthell said.

In a few weeks the kittens will be looking for their forever homes.
