A DANDENONG South driver caught behind the wheel just one month into a four-year ban is now behind bars.
The man, who has a terrible traffic history, has been jailed for yet another driving indiscretion.
Ryan Mullen pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The court heard the concreter was seen by police on the South Gippsland Highway in Dandenong South on December 30 last year.
About 3.15pm they intercepted him, and found he had no valid licence.
He had been disqualified from driving by a court for four years only weeks prior for refusing to take a breath test.
The car, which Mullen said was his mother’s, was impounded for 30 days.
The court heard he has a “significant” history, including several drink and drug-driving offences, dangerous speeding priors and a multitude of driving while disqualified crimes.
He represented himself, saying he had changed his ways.
“In the last six months I have pulled my head in,” he said.
Magistrate Luisa Bazzani said Mullen had completely disregarded court orders not to drive just a month after being given a lengthy ban.
“You put the lives of other road users at risk,” Ms Bazzani said.
Mullen seemed surprised when he was sentenced to one month in jail.
He looked around the courtroom as custody officers took him down to the cells.
An application to crush the car was deferred.
