The owner of an earthmoving business has dug himself into a hole after receiving another lengthy ban for driving while high on drugs yet again.

A druggie with a disregard for the law has lost his licence, his car and nearly his liberty for yet another driving fail.

Hayden William Waterhouse, who runs earthmoving business Scooped-Out, was meant to be serving a 12-month ban given to him by a court for driving while high.

Yet within two months he was caught behind the wheel off his head on ice and cannabis again.

But that didn’t deter him as three months later he was busted once more, this time for driving while disqualified.

Each time he gets pulled over he refuses to explain his actions, saying “I’m going to ‘no comment’ everything” to all questions.

The Crib Point 32-year-old pleaded guilty to three driving offences at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The court heard he appeared at Dromana court in February this year and lost his licence for drug-driving for 12 months.

But two months later he was pulled up by police on Jones Rd in Somerville for a routine check.

Cops soon discovered he was banned and when they tested him for drugs, he came up positive for both ice and cannabis.

And in July he was seen driving on Disney St in Crib Point, again while disqualified.

This time he tested negative for drugs.

His car was still impounded for 30 days.

Waterhouse’s defence lawyer told the court he had not used anything since July, but she couldn’t provide paperwork to back that up.

She said he ran his own earthmoving business and although work had dried up during COVID he was optimistic things would pick up again.

Magistrate Timothy Gattuso said considering his brother died in a car crash, of all people Waterhouse should know better.

“He’s driving with drugs in his system, it is concerning,” Mr Gattuso said.

“If anyone knew the dangers of the roads, you would think it was him.”

He said continuing to ignore bans would not end well.

“Don’t drive during this period (of disqualification)

“If you do, you could be imprisoned.”

Waterhouse must do 80 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

His car was also impounded for another two months.
