Three girls have been arrested after an alleged assault and attempted carjacking at a Cranbourne shopping centre.

Three teenage girls have been arrested after they allegedly bit a woman, threatened her with a screwdriver and tried to steal her car at a Cranbourne shopping centre.
Police arrested and charged the trio following the alleged attempted carjacking and alleged assault at the shopping centre on High St on April 19.
The incident occurred at 3.40pm when the three teens, all aged 15, approached a 48-year-old Clyde North woman and allegedly assaulted her.
The woman was allegedly bitten during the assault and threatened with a screwdriver before the trio ran away.
Police tracked down the three girls and arrested them nearby a short time later.
One girl was charged with attempted aggravated carjacking, armed robbery and assault with intention to rob.
The other two girls were charged with attempted aggravated carjacking, armed robbery, assault with intent to rob and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
They will each face a children’s court at a later date.
