Police say a man and a woman are co-operating with their investigation after a Nissan Skyline allegedly rammed a police vehicle overnight.
Officers were patrolling in the Cranbourne area when they allegedly observed a stolen vehicle parked in the driveway of a Lesdon Ave home.
Shortly after stopping at the scene, A Victoria Police spokeswoman said a man left the home and allegedly rammed the stolen vehicle into a police car before fleeing.
“It‘s alleged a man left the address shortly after and drove the Skyline into a marked police vehicle several times before driving a short distance, dumping the vehicle and fleeing on foot,” she said.
“No one was injured in the incident.”
The spokeswoman said a 39-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Cranbourne, were arrested at the scene.
The pair remain in police custody and no charges have been laid.
