Cranbourne crash: Woman, children injured in South Gippsland Hwy incident

A mother and her two children have been taken to hospital following a nasty single vehicle crash in Cranbourne this morning.

Police have confirmed a silver Holden Commodore crashed into a light pole on the South Gippsland Hwy, near the corner of Camms Rd, about 9.10am.

The driver, a 35-year-old Hampton Park woman was taken to The Alfred hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Her two children, aged 10 and six, have been taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics had assessed the driver and two young passengers at the scene and all three had been taken to hospital.
