An award-winning bakery will shut up shop at one of Melbourne’s most popular shopping centres at the end of the month.
Country Cob Bakery announced on its Instagram on Friday it will close its pop up store at Chadstone shopping centre on May 24.
The bakery opened at Chadstone six months ago, with its short-term lease coming to an end.
“Sadly out time in Chadstone is coming to an end,” the bakery posted.
“Our last day will be on Wednesday, 24/05 … thanks for all the support”.
Country Cob is one of Australia’s premier bakery chains, with the company winning more than 350 medals and trophies.
It won Australia’s best vanilla slice in 2017 and the best meat pie in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
