Top Tea owner Shao Liu said cheese teas were popular in China and he had wanted to introduce them to Australia.
Mr Liu said the response had been overwhelming, with people queuing to get their hands on them.
Hundreds of people have shared images of the colourful teas on Instagram.
“It’s going really well,” Mr Liu said. “When we opened the queue was crazy.”
“We constantly have people coming in.”
Popular flavours include the dragonfruit cheese tea and mango cheese tea.
Mr Liu said it was hard to explain the flavour without trying it, but it was “really good.”
They also offer a range of fruit teas, using fresh produce. “Nothing comes out of a can,” Mr Liu said.
