A man found dead on a footpath in the southeastern suburbs has yet to be identified, as police refer the death to the Coroner.

A man found dead on a footpath in the southeastern suburbs the early hours of Wednesday morning has sparked a coroner’s inquest.
Emergency services attended the scene on Stamford Rd in Oakleigh on March 27 at 8.15am, where they found a man on a footpath, already deceased.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said investigating officers are not treating the death as suspicious.
Officers are set to prepare a report for the coroner.
The man has not yet to been formally identified.
