A man has been stabbed during a frightening armed robbery in Melbourne’s southeast, with shocked witnesses saying they saw blood spattered where the horrifying incident occurred.

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was stabbed during a terrifying armed robbery in Berwick.
A Victoria Police spokesman said Casey detectives were investigating the incident which happened in Howitt Court at 12.15pm on Thursday
A 28-year-old Pakenham man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his leg.
The exact circumstances of the incident are unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
A witness, who was working nearby and asked not to be named, said she saw the shocking incident unfold.
The worker said she saw two young women approach a man in a grey car, with one of them getting into the back seat while the other stood out and spoke to the driver through the passenger window.
“I then saw another man running down the hill, who ran up to the car and the two girls quickly ran away,” she said.
“The man tried to open the car door and started punching and kicking the car, he seemed to be armed with a metal pole.
“The driver then got out and start to fight with him and then the attacker fled on foot with what appeared to be a blue bag, it was shocking.”
