MELBOURNE’S spring may be a bit late arriving, but that hasn’t made us any less appealing for super chef Curtis Stone.

“Melbourne is such a great city you usually get four seasons in one day which keeps it interesting,” he said.

“When the clouds come in you duck into a laneway for a coffee that’s as good (maybe even better) than the ones you find in Italy and once the sun pop its head out you then sit by the river with a glass of rose.”

With the Spring Racing Carnival just around the corner, Stone says there is nowhere he’d rather be.

“Melburnians know how to party and rally around a good sporting event.

“With spring in the air you can feel the excitement around the spring racing carnival. There is no better time to be in this great city.”

He is not the only celebrity to get behind SnapMelbourne, with breakfast radio host and comedian Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Lord Mayor Robert Doyle and Channel 7 presenter Michael Felgate all getting into the spirit at the recent Men of Melbourne lunch.
