A woman and a man have been killed in separate crashes just hours apart in regional Victoria.
A Seymour woman, 64, died after her car crashed into a tree on Monday morning.
Investigators have been told a Mazda sedan was headed east along the Goulburn Valley Highway about 8.30am when the car left the road and crashed into a tree.
The woman, who was the driver and sole occupant of the car, was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries but sadly died.
A few hours later a man was killed in a collision between a car and truck in Kilmore.
Investigators have been told a car and truck collided on Broadford-Kilmore Rd about 1.45pm.
The yet to be identified male driver of the car died at the scene.
The driver of the truck is helping police with their inquires and detectives from major collision investigation unit will attend the scene.
Officers have been told another vehicle may have turned into Kellys Lane before the collision and the occupants of the car may be able to supply investigators with more information
