Police are on the hunt for two hoodie-wearing men captured on camera near the scene of an attempted bank burglary in Reservoir.
A security system at a Spring St bank branch was activated about 9.45pm on Saturday, July 31, after two men allegedly forced their way into the building.
It’s alleged the pair attempted to gain access to the branch’s ATM before they were disturbed by the audible alarm and fled the scene empty-handed.
Darebin detectives believe the pair went to the address on a number of occasions in the preceding 24 hours in preparation for their attempted heist.
Images and CCTV of the two men involved have been released in the hope someone comes forward with information.
The first man is described as 40 to 55-years of age, caucasian, of medium height, with a solid build and round face. He was dressed in a hoodie and tracksuit.
The second man is described as being of similar age, caucasian, tall with leaner features. He was also dressed in a hoodie and tracksuit.
