Buyers looking for a quirky tree change have a unique opportunity with this almost 90-year-old hotel in Yarra Junction for sale.
With one of the oldest wine selling licences in Victoria, Cunninghams Hotel on Warburton Highway is on the market with an estimated selling price — the land and the business — of $1.2 million.
There are also the options of buying just the land or the business.
CRE Brokers director Phil Mammolito said the hotel had a public bar, four separate dining rooms, beer garden, commercial kitchen and manager’s residence.
Mr Mammolito said the hotel still had many of its period features, including open fire places and hardwood floorboards.
It enjoys views of Mt Toolebewong, Ben Cairn and Mt Victoria to the north, and Mount Tugwell to the east.

Mr Mammolito said patrons could enjoy a warm ambience while dining inside, or take in the spectacular views of the mountains while relaxing outside.
After 10 years the owner decided she wanted to slow down and spend more time with family, he said.
“Cunninghams is the only hotel in town and oozes charm and character,” he said.
