Yarra Valley Chocolaterie: Tourist attraction hosts month-long Rocky Road festival

It’s the chocolate treat celebrated for its quirky combinations and this year’s month-long Rocky Road festival is promising not to disappoint — with 31 mouth-watering flavours to try.

It’s long way to Yarra Glen if you want some Rocky Road.

But a rockin’ chocolate bar deserves a fitting celebration — and the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery is crankin’ up the volume — and the flavours — with a month-long festival for its most popular treat.

Visitors can enjoy 31 different Rocky Road flavours — all named after classic songs.

Visitors can make their own rocky road creations in masterclasses while a jukebox pumps out old-school hits.

The Chocolaterie’s cafe is also offering Rocky Road-flavoured deserts, ice creams, waffles and hot chocolates.

Managing director Leanne Neeland said Rocky Road was its biggest seller and the recipe made it easy to create new flavours.

“We love the creativity that it brings and we can add so many different ingredients and try different things,” she said.
