Westfield Knox upgrade: Fresh food precinct to open December 15

The first stage of the $355m Westfield Knox redevelopment will open just in time for Christmas, with new stores on the way. Check out what’s on offer.

The first stage of Westfield Knox’s $355m redevelopment will open just before Christmas.

Shoppers will be able to check out the centre’s new fresh food marketplace on Level 1, including a new Woolworths, Aldi, specialty fresh food stores and “quick eats” retailers, from December 15.

Fresh seafood producer Fisch, gourmet meat producer The Butcher Club, health food store Go Vita, and bakeries Bakers Delight and Breadtop will open in the new fresh food precinct.

A new food hall will be home to Nene Chicken, Dumpling Alley, Maguro Oyster Bar, Master Lanzhou Noodle Express, Sushi Jiro, Blossom Lane and Walker’s Doughnuts.

New retailers include home decor store Salt & Pepper, Games World and shoe store Williams; hairdressers Just Cuts and Mobile Experts; and eyewear stores Optimax Optometrists and OPSM.

Westfield Knox centre manager Kristian Nicholls said: “We’re excited to launch our new fresh food gourmet marketplace experience just in time for Christmas and give our customers a look at what we’ve been working on for them.

“The opening of the first stage at Westfield Knox is just the beginning as we transform the centre into a destination truly designed for our community, welcoming much-loved favourites and new experiences, including fashion and lifestyle retailers, a refreshed food court, community basketball court, swim school and more to come in 2023.”

Customers visiting Westfield Knox from December 15 can also enjoy an array of Christmas festivities including roaming entertainers, a fresh food giveaway, a Christmas decoration station, community gift wrapping, live music, and exclusive offers for Westfield Plus members.
