Friend Amy Hauser told Leader she was “utterly broken” and had been crying all night since hearing of Mr Muller’s death, after he had visited her at home the night before.

Ms Hauser said Mr Muller, who worked as a roof plumber, loved “hardstyle music, knew a lot about cars and motorbikes and loved to cook”.

She said he also was “super close” with twin brother Geordie, and “adored” his brother’s two children.

“Tony was a very energetic person and just wanted to have fun, he was bound to make anyone laugh, he was just hilarious,” Ms Hauser said.

“He loved his mates and was the type of person that would go above and beyond them.”

Two other close mates, Codie Scattergood and Zac Leighton, both described Mr Muller as “the life of the party”.

Mr Muller completed his apprenticeship under Mr Scattergood’s father and also lived with the family during that time.

Mr Scattergood said his late mate was always trying to make people laugh and keep them entertained, and would rush to help people in their time of need.

“He’d be the first person to give you a lift or change your tyre if you had a flat,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Leighton said he had fond memories hanging out with Mr Muller in their teenage years and going on trips to the beach.

“The world will be a worse place without him, he was such a good mate to all his friends,” he said.
