Siriyakorn ‘Bung Siriboon’s family say they still believe the missing schoolgirl will be found

IT’S six years today since Boronia schoolgirl ‘Bung’ Siriboon went missing but her stepfather says the family still hasn’t given up hope.

THE image of missing Boronia schoolgirl Siriyakorn “Bung’’ Siriboon will be beamed on an electronic billboard in Wantirna South this month.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Melissa Seach said Civic Guides Media had donated space on three of its billboards for police to display images of long-term missing persons, including Bung, and encouraged calls to Crime Stoppers.

Today marks the six-year anniversary of Bung’s disappearance.

The then 13-year-old left her Boronia home to walk to school just a few minutes away, vanishing without a trace.

Her stepfather Fred Pattison told Leader this week he had not given up hope of seeing her again.

“We have to believe she is still coming home,” Mr Pattison said.

“It doesn’t get any easier (as time passes), it gets worse.

“We miss her; it’s been hard and it continues to be hard.”
