A person has gone to extreme lengths to get their hands on items inside a charity bin.
Photos and video sent to Knox Leader show a duo going through the bin in a Boronia carpark last Thursday at 9pm.
The vision shows one of them has gone head first into the bin and is almost completely immersed, with just their legs hanging out, while a man stands next to the bin and goes through the items.

SPATE OF DEATHS RAISES QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF CLOTHING BINS
When alerted to the incident by Knox Leader, Boronia Mall manager Lawrence Peresso said he would pass the photos onto police.
Mr Peresso said homeless people had gone through charity bins in the area in the past, but it had not been an issue for years.
A recent spate of bizarre deaths in Canada highlighted the inherent dangers in charity clothing bins.
Since 2015, eight Canadians have died due to injuries sustained while trapped in the bins, with some of the victims found upside down with their legs dangling in the open.
Knox Council spokesman Karl Liebich said the carpark was owned by and therefore the responsibility of Coles.
Mr Liebich said if people had evidence of potential criminal activity, then council encouraged them to contact police.
Boronia police and Coles have been contacted for comment.
