Relief is in sight for the thousands of drivers who get stuck in traffic in Rowville each day, with $50m to be spent duplicating a busy road.
Napoleon Rd will be duplicated from Lysterfield Rd to Kelletts Rd under the Federal Government plan.
Aston federal Liberal MP Alan Tudge said the section of road had been recommended
as a priority for investment by the RACV due to the congestion faced by drivers travelling in both directions.

He said the upgrade would reduce congestion and improve safety for all road users and provide efficient and reliable travel.
Mr Tudge said the much needed upgrade would benefit thousands of drivers each day.
“Napoleon Rd is at capacity and desperately needs upgrading,” he said.
“This funding will provide full duplication making it faster and safer for everyone.”
The funding is budgeted and secured and planning will be begin immediately.
