MOOROOLBARK is the latest Yarra Ranges town to get CCTV as part of its crime fighting arsenal.
Any dodgy behaviour or crime will be recorded and fed directly to Mooroolbark police station.
Other Yarra Ranges towns already hooked up with surveillance cameras include Mt Evelyn, Woori Yallock, Yarra Glen, Belgrave, Healesville, Monbulk, Lilydale and Yarra Junction.

Mooroolbark Traders Association president Geoff Earney said finally getting CCTV would cut crime.
“It’s the best deterrent you can have and it helps police bring the bad people to heel,” Mr Earney said.
Last year police were called to a fire lit in the former IGA supermarket at Mooroolbark Terrace.
Yarra Ranges police Insp Peter Wheeler said the cameras were both a crime deterrent and helped identify people.
“They provide investigators with a starting point and also provide evidence once the offenders have been identified,” Insp Wheeler said.
“There is CCTV in all major shopping precincts in Yarra Glen, Monbulk and Lilydale.
“The divisional van can log in and see what’s happening at any time.”
Insp Wheeler said the area’s community safety officer Senior Constable Linda Hancock was trying to secure money for CCTV at another six sites across the Yarra Ranges.
“We’re hoping to find out this month if funding has been successful so we can put cameras in Warburton, Millgrove, Montrose, Seville, Wandin and Upwey,” Insp Wheeler said.
Casey federal Liberal MP Tony Smith said CCTV was helping to make towns and suburbs safer places to live, work and shop.
“Throughout the year, cameras in Belgrave, Monbulk, Mooroolbark, Mt Evelyn, Woori Yallock and Yarra Glen were switched on,” Mr Smith said.
“The camera networks installed in six towns in 2018 are in addition to the three other federally funded networks operating in Healesville, Lilydale and Yarra Junction.”
