Melbourne Covid lockdown: Suburbs with coronavirus infections in Victoria
Parts of Melbourne’s west are surging as Covid hot spots, with one LGA recording more than 350 cases in one 24-hour period.

Victoria has recorded 7442 Covid cases overnight — another record 24-hour period.
A further nine people have sadly died with the virus, aged in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
Multiple Local Government Areas recorded more than 200 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Wyndham was the worst hit with 352 new cases for a total of 1513 active cases.
Casey racked up 281 cases for a total of 1233, Hume picked up 257 new cases for 1393 active cases while Port Phillip scored 250 new cases for 1104 active cases
Other areas in the top 10 are Glen Eira (220), Brimbank (216), Whittlesea (212), Melton (204), Monash (194) and Moreland (189).
