Knox City: Westfield Knox shopping centre photos

If you shopped at McEwan’s or dined at the Pink Cadillac, enjoy this look back at Knox shopping centre ahead of its huge upgrade.

Knox Shopping Centre

From shopping at Video Games Heaven, to dining at the Pink Cadillac Cafe, many shoppers have fond memories of Knox City shopping centre.

Opening in 1977, with Myer its first major tenant, the arrival of the centre changed the area forever.

Previously the Burwood Highway land had been used to grow potatoes.

The centre continued to grow over the years, with the development of Knox District Centre, which later became Knox Ozone.

Ahead of its major upgrade, which will see the addition of Aldi and Woolworths, take a stroll down memory lane with these old photos of the centre.
