Holden Commodore driver seen fleeing fatal Woori Yallock collision

The driver of a Holden Commodore was seen driving off from the scene of a two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a Yarra Junction man.

A Yarra Junction man has been killed after his car rolled following a two-vehicle collision in which the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.

Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision at Woori Yallock at 10pm on September 18.

Both drivers had been travelling east along the Warburton Highway at Wandin when the two cars collided.

The men continued to drive erratically before they stopped near the intersection of Elvian Rd.

The driver of a white Holden Commodore, a 39-year-old man, got out of his car to assess the vehicle before the car rolled and hit him.

He was treated by paramedics but he died at the scene.

The male driver of a green Holden Commodore left the scene.

Police would like to speak to the man who was driving the green vehicle as he may be able to assist them with their inquiries.
