Heywood St Ringwood: 37-year-old man arrested following police raid

A man is set to face court on Friday afternoon after police allegedly found drugs, knives and stolen items at his Ringwood home.

A man has been arrested after drugs, knives and suspected stolen goods were found at his home during an early morning police raid.

Croydon detective Acting Sergeant Jamie Rushton said officers raided the home in Heywood St, Ringwood, on April 16 at 7.30am.

Acting Sgt Rushton said officers uncovered $7000 worth of methamphetamine, knives and various suspected stolen items.

A 37-year-old man living at the home was arrested and taken to Croydon police station for questioning.

Acting Sgt Rushton said the man was likely to be charged with drug offences and possession of stolen goods.

He was remanded to face the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court later on Friday.
