A Warburton woman has been charged by police after she allegedly hit a cyclist and killed him.
The 30-year-old woman allegedly hit the 81-year-old Mooroolbark man on Surrey Rd at 11.15am on September 5.
Paramedics treated the cyclist but he died at the scene.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives charged the woman with dangerous driving causing death.
She was bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on September 11.
