A CYCLIST and pedestrian are in a serious condition in the Royal Melbourne Hospital after a crash in Croydon.
A Ringwood man on his bike, and Croydon woman, both in their 60s, suffered serious head injuries when the pair collided at the intersection of St George’s Crescent and Mt Dandenong Rd about noon.
Croydon police Acting Sergeant Adam Clarkson said the crash happened when the cyclist was travelling towards Kilsyth, and the woman was crossing the road.

Acting Sgt Clarkson said the pair suffered serious head injuries in the crash.
He said they were rushed by ambulance to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Maroondah police on 9881 7900.
