A Department of Education spokesman, who declined to be named, said the school was closed on Friday, July 31, to allow the department and the Department of Health and Human Services to do further investigations.
“We have written to the school community to ask that all students stay at home until further advice is provided,” the spokesman said.
“The school will be closed to all students, staff and members of the community.”
The positive case at Croydon Hills comes after Ringwood’s Aquinas College was shut down on Tuesday, July 28 when a worker associated with the cleaners tested positive.
