Bayswater: Three arrested, man critically injured in Pho Kha Tran restaurant fight

A man is fighting for life and three people have been arrested following a brawl outside a noodle shop in Melbourne’s outer east.
Police and emergency services responded to an incident outside the Pho Kha Tran restaurant in the service lane on Mountain Highway, Bayswater, on Thursday May 6 at 9.40pm.
It is unclear how the fight broke out, but police say up to eight men could have been involved.
A crime scene had been established outside the restaurant when Leader visited last night, with one man talking to Knox detectives.

A man in his 40s, of no fixed address, was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition with upper body injuries, while another man was also treated at the scene.
Seven men are assisting police with their investigations.
Victoria Police spokesman Sam Bidey said three men were arrested following the incident, however they had all since been released pending further inquiries.
