A TASTE of Chapel Street has come to Ringwood with the latest restaurant opening at Eastland.
Abacus All Day opened in Town Square in early December and offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and takeaway coffee.
It serves breakfast and lunch until 3pm daily before switching to a dinner menu.
Eastland management approached owner Dylan Whitmore to open in Ringwood following the success of his Chapel St haunt.

Mr Whitmore said he chose Eastland as it was close to fresh produce and wineries in the Yarra Valley and because the centre was “a growing monster”.
“We found a lot of our customers from Chapel St are Ringwood locals or from near the area,” he said.
“And now, the people coming in here are ones who are going to the Chapel St venue all the time.”
Abacus has its own coffee blend — which it created with roasters St Ali — and it bakes all its bread in its own bakery in South Yarra.
Mr Whitmore said Abacus All Day was similar to the Chapel St restaurant with a relaxed vibe and tropical-themed interior.
He also said it was one of the few all-day eateries in Town Square.
“We have the same approach to the food and putting our signature twist on it,” he said.
“Whether its afternoon or morning, we just want to give the same quality service and the same feel.”
