The Vjunior cinema includes an indoor slide, custom-fit beanbag seats and lounges.

Children can also take advantage of a shorter pre-show and an intermission, allowing them to socialise and take snack and bathroom breaks.

Children’s entertainment will form a big part of the redevelopment, with the opening of Tunzafun Xtreme as well as an outdoor children’s play area.

The dining and entertainment precinct will blend outdoor and indoor spaces, surrounded by a central lawn for the community to use all-year-round.

Westfield Plenty Valley Centre Manager Craig Tapping said the precinct would bring a complete lifestyle experience to Melbourne’s northern suburbs

“We have created a destination with our customers in mind, both young and old, for every occasion,” he said.

The precinct is part of the overall $80 million redevelopment of the centre.
