From huge slides to tube rides, there’s plenty on offer at Victoria’s water parks to keep the whole family cool as the weather heats up.

FUNFIELDS THEME PARK
2365 Plenty Rd, Whittlesea
Thrillseekers can take on the world’s “biggest, longest and tallest” water slide, the ProSlide Tornado, or cool off at the volcano beach wave pool at the popular Whittlesea fun park.
There’s also the 137m Typhoon slide with “a mind blowing drop of nearly 19m” and Birdy Cove, a safe water play area for toddlers and little kids.

GUMBUYA WORLD

Choose from eight “epic” water slides; drift along the 300m Lazy River; ride the perfect wave at Surf’s Up; or chill out at the family wave pool at Gumbuya World.

ADVENTURE PARK GEELONG
1249 Bellarine Highway, Wallington
There’s more than 20 rides to try at Adventure Park Geelong, including the $4m triple funnel water slide, that rises 7.5 storeys high.
Colossal tidal waves and raging water will swirl, twirl and suck riders down a series of treacherous, snaking tunnels and whirlpool funnels.
There’s also the Tornado water slide, that stretches 205m; the 300m Lazy River tube ride; and a tiny tots splashzone.
Tickets: General admission 120cm and over $48.50, juniors 90cm-120cm $38.50, children under 90cm free, seniors 60 and over $30.

INFLATABLE FUN PARK
29 Brindley St, Dandenong South
Jump into fun at the home of Melbourne’s largest inflatable pool, the world’s largest inflatable maze, and an inflatable sports zone.
There's also paddle boats, trampolines and a water slide.

SEVILLE WATER PLAY PARK
20-28 Monbulk-Seville Rd, Seville
There’s plenty of fun on offer for youngsters at the free Seville Water Play Park, with water jets creating the perfect way to cool down on a warm day.
There’s also a playground, barbecue and picnic tables nearby.

WARBURTON WATER WORLD
20 Woods Point Rd, Warburton
The new water park has been a huge hit since opening last year, creating traffic chaos in the town.
The free park has a picnic and barbecue area, and water features include a drenching bucket.
Yarra Ranges Council is urging visitors to have a back-up location in mind, if the water park carpark is full. There is also a splash pad, including water jets and sprays, at the Lillydale Lake playground.

HADFIELD PARK
High Street, Wallan
The free fully accessible water splash park at Hadfield Park opens in summer, while the Community Bank Adventure Playground is open all year round, and includes a five-storey tower with three slides and a 25m double flying fox.
