A wheelie bin full of children's toys and clothing has been stolen and two crooks are on the run after a burglary in Fairfield.
Police released CCTV footage on Tuesday of two men they are looking for after they broke into the Station St shop about 2am on January 8.
Sergeant Cameron Scott said the burglars stole $15,000 worth of toys and clothing and then loaded the loot into a wheelie bin and bags to take it away.
“It is believed the offenders had a vehicle parked in the vicinity of Arthur St, Fairfield, however, the details of any vehicles used are unknown,” Sgt Scott said.
He said the alleged offenders were seen to be walking on Station St about one hour prior to the burglary.
Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are probing the theft.
The first man is described as caucasian, wearing black shoes, shorts and a grey jumper with white writing on the front and sleeve.

He was of a solid build, had his face covered and a hood over his head.
The second man is described as caucasian wearing dark shoes, dark pants and a dark hooded jumper.
