A young Reservoir woman who viciously attacked a man, squeezing his testicles and breaking his skin with her teeth, was later caught dealing drugs.

Shonte Mould, 21, was sentenced to a 12-month communit corrections order before Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on Friday, having pleaded guilty to charges including trafficking ice, GHB and Xanax and unlawful assault.

The court heard Mould was at her mum’s Korumburra home on February 25, 2020 when she got into an argument with a family friend — an older male — and began screaming at him.

It was heard the man managed to stop Mould from punching him in the head before she bit down on his forearm, breaking his skin, then grabbed hold of his testicles and squeezed tightly.

When she was later interviewed by police, Mould admitted “I have bitten him quite viciously and I have squeezed his genitals”.

The court heard Mould was found to be dealing drugs after police raided her Reservoir home on October 21, 2020 and found more than 100 Xanax tablets, about 22g of ice divided between numerous bags, 35ml GHB, cannabis, adrenaline and diazepam tablets.

Messages on her phone also revealed she was selling ice, GHB and Xanax.

Mould also pleaded guilty to stealing two packets of ear pods from Coles Express Thomastown in August 2020.

The court heard Mould had previously done programs at a drug rehabilitation clinic and after struggling to gain employment, had been working at the Grand Hyatt for two months.

Her lawyer tendered references to the court that claimed Mould had turned a corner and had “a new-found sense of worth”.

Magistrate Meagan Keogh said she was “very concerned” about Mould’s crimes, saying drug dealing was “pretty despicable in a lot of respects”.

Ms Keogh said she had considered jail time and a community corrections order, but agreed to give Mould a corrections order after Mould said she wanted to develop “more awareness about why (she) did those things”.
