Man arrested after alleged non fatal shooting in northeast
A man has been arrested and charged over a shooting in Melbourne’s northeast after police allegedly found a plethora of weapons.

A man has been arrested after a non-fatal shooting in Melbourne’s northeast last month.
Police responded to reports of a gunshot that struck a vehicle on Bridge Rd Inn in Doreen on May 28.
Luckily the two people inside the vehicle at the time were not injured.
On Tuesday police conducted multiple search warrants at properties in Doreen where they allegedly found an array of weapons.
In total police sized nine firearms, ammunition, and other prohibited weapons including a sword, knuckle dusters and a butterfly knife.
A 47-year-old year old man was arrested and has been charged with non-prohibited person possess firearms, possess prohibited weapons and possess ammunition without a licence.
He has been bailed to appear in Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court later this year.
