FOUR candidates will contest the seat of Bundoora but only Bundoora state Labor MP Colin Brooks was able or willing to answer questions without notice.
Greensborough resident Mr Brooks, 44, said his number one priority was getting the Greensborough TAFE campus reopened.
Mr Brooks said he wanted to see the neglected Greensborough Secondary College campus rebuilt and stop the sale of two nursing homes by the State Government.
“Technically, the TAFE college sits just outside my electorate but Greensborough TAFE is the local TAFE for most of my community,” Mr Brooks said.

Mr Brooks said Labor would add three extra peak hour services on the Hurstbridge railway line to relieve morning congestion and extend the rail line to Mernda to help relieve congestion on Plenty Rd.
He said while there were no level crossings in his electorate, many residents had told him they would like to see the removal of the crossing on Lower Plenty Rd in Rosanna.
“It is one that many people have raised with me because they often drive that way on the way to the city in the morning,” Mr Brooks said.
“They get stuck at that level crossing in the mornings and evenings, so they would like to see that level crossing removed, which we have committed to do.”

When approached to organise a time for her to participate in questions without notice, Bundoora Liberal candidate Amita Gill said: “I am not interested in doing any interviews at this time”.
She later said: “It’s not that I don’t want to speak to you, I am just so caught up tomorrow so I am not sure.”
Family First candidate James Widdowson listed his contact details as those for Family First representative Shane Clark. When contacted, Mr Clark said Family First candidates would not participate in interviews.
Greens candidate Clem Stanyon narrowly missed a call from the Leader at 11.30am on Friday, November 14. We tried again an hour later but he was unavailable until after deadline.
