A fire in an industrial oven at a Preston factory that manufactures egg cartons forced 13 people to evacuate the building.
Fire Rescue Victoria crews were called to the fire at the large factory complex at 77 Raglan St just after midnight Wednesday, and found a large oven alight, with the fire extending into the flue.
A second fire was then found at the rear of the factory.
Fire Rescue Victoria said the factory manufactures egg cartons which had become jammed in the industrial oven and caught fire.
The oven was lined with asbestos so asbestos procedures were implemented by fire crews.
Firefighters remained on scene while company maintenance staff pulled the oven apart.
