Elderly Greensborough woman pulled to safety from unit fire
A unit in Greensborough was completely alight when firefighters arrived at the scene. And an elderly woman has the brave men in red to thank after pulling her to safety.

A woman in her 90s is lucky to be alive after her Greensborough home was gutted by fire on Monday night.
The Alexandra St unit was completely alight when emergency services arrived at the scene about 8.45pm after neighbours reported the blaze.
The elderly woman was pulled to safety by fire crews, who also evacuated residents from neighbouring units.
The fire was declared under control within 35 minutes.

The roof of the elderly woman’s unit was caved in, but there was no damage to other homes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There were no injuries.
