Diamond Creek house fire: Crews called to blaze on Fairview Crescent

A smoke warning was issued to nearby residents after a Diamond Creek home went up in flames on Wednesday afternoon.
A CFA spokesperson said eight CFA units responded to the blaze on Fairview Crescent about 12.18pm, with Fire Rescue Victoria on scene in support.
Crews discovered a structure about 10m x 10m fully involved in fire, with a community message issued for smoke in the area.
Units responded from Eltham, Plenty, Diamond Creek, Mernda and Research.
Relevant power and gas companies, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were also called to the scene.
The incident was deemed under control at 12.41pm.
