Whittlesea shop fire: Church Street shop goes up in flames overnight

A Whittlesea shop has gone up in flames overnight, with CFA crews arriving to find the building completely alight.
A CFA spokesperson said crews responded to a shop fire on Church St about 2.19am Wednesday, with 10 CFA units attending with support from Fire Rescue Victoria crews.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a structure fully alight and contained the blaze to a single structure.
The fire was extinguished about 2.50am and the incident was under control by 3.18am.
The CFA spokesperson said neighbouring structures were smoke affected.
The incident was declared safe by 4.37am.
