Clothing the Gap director Laura Thompson said health and wellbeing had never been more important than during lockdown.

“We wanted to ensure there were opportunities to stay physically, mentally and spiritually healthy, as well as connect with the community,” she said.

“We are thrilled about creating something for everyone to get excited about while improving their health.”

Participants pick their distance, register on the website and can share their runs and training in an online community.

“I was so disappointed when parkrun had to stop due to coronavirus. It was my weekly social catch up and I love the camaraderie,” she said.

Having something like RunRona has kept me motivated and in an active routine.”
