A SUPERMARKET employee was threatened by two knife wielding men during a terrifying daylight robbery in Bundoora this morning.
The masked men armed with a butterfly knife and a kitchen knife entered the store on Grimshaw St about 9.30am and demanded the attendant hand over cash, police said.
But the bungling pair didn’t get very far with the money — while they fled with the register drawer, it was later found nearby still containing the cash.

Police investigations continue to find the offenders, with both described as being caucasian in appearance.
One was 180cm tall, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes with a white stripe, and the second man was about 175cm tall, wore a black hoodie, black pants and white runners.
The store attendant was not harmed as a result of the incident.
