Boy charged and another taken to hospital after Craigieburn fight
A teenage boy has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury and another remains in hospital with serious stab wounds after a fight broke out at a park in Craigieburn.

A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after he was allegedly stabbed during a fight in Craigieburn.
The 15-year-old was among a group of youths who gathered at a park off Central Park Ave when a number of arguments broke out just after 9pm on September 6.
Police allege a 16-year-old boy produced a large knife and slashed the victim multiple times.

Hume detective Senior Sergeant Ray Freeman told the Leader the boy received wounds to his left hand, abdomen and left knee and was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a serious but non-life threatening condition.
“Detectives attended and as a result of investigations a youth (16) was arrested and charged with intentionally causing serious injury,” Sen-Sgt Freeman said.
The boy has been remanded to face a children’s court at a later date.
Sen-Sgt Freeman said the victim remained in hospital.
