DIAMOND Valley gymnasts collected a swag of medals at the recent 2017 Victorian Championships.

The Balance Gymnastics Centre in Research won 19 golds, 14 silvers and four bronzes at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville on June 10 to 12.

Club director Paul Danelutti said he was over the moon with the club’s performance.

“We competed against the bigger clubs and the Victorian Institute of Sport’s athletes so to beat a few of them was wonderful,” Mr Danelutti said.

Hannah Triantafillis, Bo Danelutti and Annabella Geraghty were the club’s stars of the three-day show.
