Students at St Paul’s Primary School in Coburg have penned heartfelt messages for St Vincent’s Hospital workers on the front line of the coronavirus fight.

Students from St Paul’s Primary School are brightening hospital workers days one heartfelt letter at a time.
Students from Year One and Two at the Coburg school have been hard at work writing letters of thanks to health care workers at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Principal Maria Mercuri said she wanted her students to be able to express their feelings in a positive way.
“While we might be in our homes away from each other and during online learning, we want everyone to know we are all in this together,” she said.
Student Amalie thanked the workers for “keeping us safe and helping us through this weird and scary time”.
While student Jack wrote that he hoped the workers wouldn’t get sick from the “terrible virus”.

The kindness and gratitude letters aimed to help others during this difficult time who might be feeling alone.
The kids expressed these through many creative ways including letters, pictures and poems.
St Vincent’s Hospital workers thanked the students with their own letter, and have put them up on the walls for everyone to enjoy.
