Opener Jack Condon fell six runs short of his maiden First XI hundred on day one, bowled by Tawalampolage Darshanapriya (5-85) after a 195-ball innings which formed the backbone of Strathmore’s total.
Condon’s 111-run third-wicket stand with Lucas Kennedy (46) tipped the match in their side’s favour, giving the Mores a platform to launch to a total in excess of 250.
Lower-order contributions from Chris Williams (30) and Chanaka Welegedara (20) left Keilor with a mountain to climb to deny Strathmore a spot in the decider.
Former Test quick Welegedara (2-48) struck early on day two when he trapped Nathan Beever (3) lbw, but the visitors recovered to be 4-174 with about a-run-a-ball required for victory after an earlier rain delay.
Robert Clements (55) and Kaushal Lokuarachchi (50) both produced half-centuries in a 96-run partnership, but Jack Tate (1-38) and Kennedy (1-57) combined to end the key stand.
Three quick wickets effectively decided the semi-final as Will Lee (1-55) bowled Upal Bandara (20) before Daniel Slevison removed Finlay Trenouth (47) and Darshanapriya (0) in consecutive balls.
Slevison picked up the last five wickets for Strathmore, finishing with 5-24 from six overs to earn his side a historic grand final berth.
Strathmore defeated Doutta Stars by 33 runs in Round 4 and held on for a three-run victory in their return bout in Round 12.
