Three P-platers have driven themselves to a court date after a night of alleged driving offences in Melbourne’s northwest.

Police intercepted a 22-year-old motorcyclist on Friday after he was spotted allegedly doing wheelies and driving dangerously in Tullamarine.

The 22-year-old’s motorbike was impounded for 30 days.

Not long after, a Ford Focus was intercepted on Bell St in Pascoe Vale South after allegedly doing 168km/h on the freeway.

The 18-year-old’s car was impounded for 30 days and lost his licence for 12 months.

Police made it three from three on Saturday night when they intercepted a BMW 335i in Fawkner.

Police alleged the 20-year-old male driver was using his phone before they allegedly uncovered 50 grams of cannabis, knuckle dusters, $4,700 in cash and fake identification. Police allege he was on a suspended probationary licence.

The driver’s car was impounded while he and his 16-year-old female passenger were arrested.
