Flemington and Kensington homes are the most likely to be burgled in Moonee Valley, new statistics show.
An RACV analysis of police figures in 2017-18 showed homes in the suburbs had a one-in-73 chance of a break-in, the highest in the municipality.
Moonee Ponds was ranked next with a rating of one-in-78, almost in line with the state average of one-in-76.

Airport West, Niddrie and Niddrie North were almost twice as safe than the state average, with burglary rates at a low one-in-151 homes.
Overall, there was a one-in-120 chance of a break-in in Moonee Valley.
Postcode 3978, which includes Cardinia, Clyde and Clyde North, recorded the worst burglary rate in metropolitan Melbourne, with a one-in-27 chance. Victoria Police Superintendent Peter Greaney said the force had focused on reducing burglaries at both a strategic and local level.
“We continue to make arrests and work towards reducing the number of victims of this crime,” he said.
He said the overwhelming majority of aggravated burglaries did not involve violence. Crime statistics showed there were 678 burglary offences in Moonee Valley in 2017-18, down from 847 in 2016-17.
An RACV survey found 83 per cent of people believed the state had a “crime problem”.
RACV spokeswoman Bess Nolan-Cook said concerns included people using or dealing drugs, vandalism and property damage.
