As year 12 students across the state buckled down for their examinations, one from the Macedon Ranges also stood up to make the world a better place.
Josh Murray, who has grown his free range egg business from 40 hens to stocking in major supermarkets across Australia, has now partnered with Foodbank Victoria to make a difference.

He said he wanted to support people who struggled with access to nutritious food.
“We want to support our fellow Australians and I know we can help people in this category. We need to do it, it’s the right thing,” Josh said.
“So many people around Australia can’t afford good, nutritious food.”
For every dozen of Josh’s Rainbow Eggs sold in November in selected Woolworths stores — including in Kyneton and Sunbury — two eggs will be donated to Foodbank.
Foodbank Victoria CEO Dave McNamara said that it was heartening to see such generosity and social leadership from someone who is so young.
“Josh is inspiring. He’s the youngest of our food donors and among the most passionate,” Mr McNamara said.
“Sadly, we know that grocery items many people take for granted — such as eggs, meat and milk — are out of reach for most people experiencing food insecurity.”
